- Description:
The drug has bacteria of normal microflora of different bowel segments which maintain in it bacterial balance.
Lactobacteria synthesize and secrete lactic acid and other organic acids and create sour medium in the intestine spaces which is unfavorable for pathogenic bacteria, stimulate absorption of monosaccharides and electrolytes, maintain and regulate equilibrium of intestinal flora, synthesize and secrete vitamins of group B in the intestine spaces (thiamine, riboflavin, pyridoxine, cyanocobalamin, biotin, antipellagric factor), tocopherol, vitamin K.
- Indication:
When babies, children, adults have diarrhea, disbacteriosis, meteorism, constipation, regurgitation. When babies have digestive disorders being on the artificial feeding and adults who have infections caused by the antibiotic treatment and antibacterial agents, acute and chronic gastroenterocolitis, neurodermatitis (supplement agent).
- Interaction:
Linex may be indicated together with antibiotics and other antibacterial drugs.
- Method of application:
For adults – 2 capsules 3 times a day, for babies and children below 2 years – 1 capsule 3 times a day, 2-12 years – 1-2 capsules 3 times a day.
For babies and children who cannot swallow the capsule, open it and mix the powder with tea, juice or sweet water.
- Special precautions:
Do not take the drug with hot and strong drinks. Do not use Linex after the expiry date.
