Hyper sensibility to the drug, hepatic insufficiency, closed angle glaucoma.
- Indication:
Acute respiratory disorders provoked by cold and associated with fever, allergic rhinitis, and influenza.
- Method of application:
Children under 5 years - 1 tablet 1-2 times per day, 5-10 years old children - 1 tablet 2 times per day, 10-15 years old children - 1 tablet 3 times per day. Dissolve in water before use.
- Overdose:
Nausea, vomiting, pallor, anorexia, abdominal aches. Treatment: gastric lavage, N-acetylcysteine (antidote).
- Special precautions:
Antiparkinsonians, antipsychoticals, and sedatives increase effects of chlorphenamine; atropine and spasmodicals prolong paracetamol’s action; barbiturates, antiepileptic, riphampicine and alcohol increase the hepatotoxicity risk.
- Side effects:
Drowsiness, xerostomia, accommodation disorders, urinary retention, allergic reaction, thrombocytopenia.
